Privacy Policy
This page is arranged the way an enquiry runs: what you tell the company, what happens to it afterwards, and what you can ask for in return. Each answer takes one question.

What you tell us
Who controls my information?
Your information is controlled by Serviqen Enquiry Setup Ltd (company number 17290491), registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 7 High Street, Kington, Herefordshire, HR5 3AX. For anything on this page, email company@serviqenenquirysetup.com or write to the registered office.
What do you gather when I write?
Three things and no more:
- The contents of your enquiry and the correspondence that follows it — all supplied by you
- Server logs the hosting provider keeps: the pages requested, the time and the browser type
- Nothing from your browser storage: this site sets no cookies and leaves nothing on your device
The site carries no analytics, no tracking and no advertising technology, so visiting it never builds a profile of you.
Must I give you anything?
No — nothing here obliges you to provide anything. Just know that without a way to reach you, your enquiry cannot be answered, and without the details a quotation needs, one cannot be written.
What happens to it
What is it used for?
Four uses, in full: answering your message, preparing a written quotation, carrying out the project if one follows, and keeping the business records the law requires. There are no others.
On what grounds is that lawful?
Three grounds under the UK GDPR:
- Article 6(1)(b): steps you request towards a contract — the enquiry and the quotation — and then the contract itself
- Article 6(1)(f): a legitimate interest in keeping business correspondence on file, so a conversation can be picked up where it paused; your rights always override it
- Article 6(1)(c): the legal obligation to keep accounting and tax records
Which suppliers handle it?
A small circle of suppliers becomes involved once we correspond or work together:
- The hosting provider that serves this site and keeps its server logs
- The email provider that carries our correspondence
- The payment provider named in your order confirmation, which processes the card payment
- The company's accountant, for invoices and records
Your data is never sold, and nobody beyond this circle receives it unless the law requires it.
Does it go abroad?
The company itself never sends your data abroad. If a supplier above processes it outside the United Kingdom, that is done under the safeguards the UK GDPR requires, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
When is it deleted?
- Enquiry correspondence that never leads to a project: up to 24 months after the last message
- Contract, invoice and payment records: six years, as tax law requires
- Server logs: the short operational period set by the hosting provider
Once a period ends, the material is deleted rather than kept indefinitely.
Is anything decided automatically?
No. No decision about you is automated, and no profiling takes place — a person writes every reply, quotation and decision.
Does the site store anything on my device?
Nothing. The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's storage, so there is nothing to accept, refuse or clear.
What you can ask
What can I ask you to do with my data?
You may ask for a copy of your data, for correction, deletion or restriction, for transfer to another service, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Writing to the addresses in the first answer is enough, and every request is answered within one month, as the UK GDPR requires.
Who do I complain to?
Complain to the company first, at the addresses above, and you will receive an answer. If you are still not satisfied, you can take the complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, or through ico.org.uk.
What happens when this policy changes?
A revised policy replaces this one here, and the revision date at the top moves. The version current when you write is the one that applies to your correspondence.
